The Enhanced Site Actions component will add additional menu items to the default Site Action menu of WSS sites. These new menu items allow quick and easy access to commonly used functionality. This component can be installed by making used of an installation wizard, after installation the SmartTools.EnhancedSiteActions feature can be enabled on all site collections where the new Site Action menu items should be visible.

@Jeff102410 Did you enable it on your site? Site collection and then site also...

I'm needing some help with the installation process. I've run the install package successfully. When I go to Central Admin/SharedServices1 and go to SiteActions/SiteSettings/Site Collection Administration/Site Collection Features, I see SmartTools.EnhancedSiteActions v1.1 and I've activated it. However, I don't see the enhanced site action menu when I go to the web site. Is there something else I'm needing to do?

The Unauthorized Access problem has been solved in the new release (4.0).

Us, too. Seems that it doesn't check to see if you have the permissions to see the items, but that's just a guess.

Same thing happened to us. Members of the site's Visitors group could no longer browse to the site's main page with this activated. thanks -jeff

Hello we just experienced a problem with the Enhanced Site Actions tool on our server. We loved it very much, but as we transfered it to our 2nd system we recognized, that the anonymous access to the root site was not working any longer. For owners erverything looked fine and the tool were working, but users with less rights couldn't accesss the site anymore. Do you have an idea for that? Thanks Chirs
