  • Start SETUP.EXE which will open the installation wizard
  • First the installation wizard will do a system check, click Next to continue.

I am encountering the same problem as Alexdresko. I have got this error: "The "WhatsNewWebPart" Web Part appears to be causing a problem. Feature '<GUID>' for list template '425' is not installed in this farm. The operation could not be completed"

As with webguynj, I follow these instructions but I am unable to see the web part in the list of available web parts when I got to add it to a page. Can someone help with this at all?

When I try to add the module to my MOSS portal, I get an error "Invalid list template"

I followed these directions and everything works great up to the very last line. The web part is not showing up in the list of available web parts
